Do you feel fantastic? Do you know what that means?The author, Scott Gordon, has brought us a wonderful series of four stories. We meet the Pigtastic the dragon, the frog and last of all you. These four stories tell us how wonderful it is to be us. We may be a dragon or pig or frog or even you, with certain problems, but we all are wonderfully, loving creatures. We are the best there is, lovable and likable. This set of stories gives a very positive message to everyone how valuable they are. I am very appreciative of this kind of message.
The illustrations are vibrant, vivid and very colorful. They depict the pig, the dragon, the frog and you and me as our wonderful selves in all our glory. Parents/teachers will enjoy reading this book to there children. The children will like the characters and will be able to identify with all of their problems,mbut also understand what lovable characters we are. This is a very promising story for all of us, and it is so nice to meet and read positive messages for all of us.

I'm not really sure about the age range, but I don't have kids. I got it to read to my nieces. The stories are cute and sweet, but a bit too simplistic for the 4.5 year old (she asked for a different book). They are only a few words per page, but do tell a pretty long/full story. They seem a bit too long for the two year old, but she loves the pictures so I think it will be good for her to grow into the length.
I did get this collection when it was free. The real reason to get it is for My Little Pet Dragon. Clearly the best in the collection. These are cute, kind of funny "books" that are really designed, as many of the words are not for new readers, for parents to read to children while they look at the adorable pictures. They are quirky and fun with good morals and ideas, and my son really likes to enjoys these and other books from Mr. Gordon.
I experienced reading on my phone with my 3 year old daughter. We both found the images bright, attractive and cutesy. The white background of the page with animated characters and short text gave it a minimalist feel. The books held themes of self-love, family values, & making a difference.

The dragon does everything, homework, fix his computer, help his mom and of course brush his teeth and his mothers. He gets yet another dragon
for Christmas this year-a female dragon.

My Crazy Pet Frog is about how a frog can be anything he wants a spy, a disco dancer, etc
A Little Book About You is about how we are each different and to share your dreams with others.
Pigtastic is about how when a pig is down he can just think about his heart of gold and it makes him happy again.
I had picked this book up for my son, as he loves to read at bedtime. The stories are fast and fun and easy enough for beginning readers to tackle on their own. Each story contains a positive message about being your best, being yourself, and even how important it is to brush your teeth.
While the books are really cute, I would recommend reading them on a device other than the Paperwhite, as the illustrations look better in color. We have both the Paperwhite and an iPad, and my son has read these stories on both ( for iPad).
The $2.99 price (as of this writing) is well worth the money, as these are stories you can read again and again and still be entertained by them. I would highly recommend this collection for toddlers who are being read to up to K/1 beginning readers who are reading on their own. Older children might like them for the fun of the stories, but they will not pose any challenge whatsoever to their reading abilities. Even though he is fully capable of reading these stories on his own, my son still enjoys having them read to him at bedtime.
This kindle book contains four separate stories for children ages three to six. Toddlers will enjoy the vivid illustrations even if they don't get the underlying lesson of the stories. In the Pigtastic tale, readers learn to accept others for what they are by looking past the exterior. My Pet Dragon features a very helpful pet given as a Christmas present who teaches how we can all be helpful around the house. On the other hand, the pet frog in the next story is a mischievous creature with multiple personalities, but it turns out that his family loves him anyway. Finally, the last book about you encourages the young child to unlock his potential by investigating and exploring his unique talents and using that power to change the world.
The entire collection runs just under 140 pages, but text is simple and illustrations are large and bold. Parents and caregivers could use them as individual bedtime stories or read alouds. Preschool teachers might find them useful to teach behavior modification and simple life lessons.
My daughter loves these books! My son loved them before her. Both of their favorites included the dragon book and the frog book. I find the books ok, but I've read them 50+ times and now they're a little old ; ) The pictures are simple and humorous. They are pretty basic without a lot of flash - imagine something you could do on your computer with JPEG or some video editing program. Sometimes I think the content is a little adult - boy dragon has hearts around his head and there is some narrative "wink wink" action. I don't think the kids notice anything, but I pick up on it. Overall, if you're looking for a fun bundle pack to read to the kiddos are night, or a picture book they can flip through, these are good. There are quite a lot of images for each page - and each page only has about a sentence.
